This is the second release of the dhcp package from theInternet Software Consortium. It provides a server and a relay agent. It allowshosts on a TCP/IP network to request and be assigned IP addresses, and also todiscover information about the network to which they are attached. DHCP is basicallyBOOTP with extra features.
